- We pour all of our concrete over a pea gravel base. This helps to reduce the natural cracking that will occur in our climate.

During the install process, you can actually see the difference. The benefits don’t come until down the road, as your project still looks as good as the day it was built.
Industry-Leading 1-Year Concrete Workmanship Warranty
Concrete (1 year): Concrete work, by nature, is an inexact science. Some minor cracking will occur. Scritchlow Enterprises warrants that we will install control joints and/or other reinforcement as we deem necessary in order to prevent abnormal cracking from occurring. However, the customer realizes that some minor cracking will occur and is acceptable. Some surface pitting and/or popping can and will occur. The customer understands that certain annual maintenance needs to be done to concrete surfaces in order to keep them in good condition. They should be cleaned and sealed yearly. Product failure due to improper maintenance is not covered under warranty. All concrete must be sealed by Scritchlow Enterprises to be covered by any warranty.
- Concrete workmanship is warrantied for one year for any major sinking and/or cracks bigger than 1 inch.
- Deterioration of concrete caused by using salt or other de-icing chemicals causes the concrete to peel and will not be covered under the warranty.
- Snow removal by heavy machinery will be at the owner’s risk and void the warranty.
- Commercial vehicle traffic will void the warranty.
- Color variations may occur, either lighter or darker than they appear on the charts.
- Scritchlow Enterprises is not responsible for any settlements in concrete due to underground utilities and non-compacted soil.
- If the customer decides not to follow Scritchlow Enterprises’ reinforcement recommendations, no warranty will apply.
